Before booking…
It’s best to read over my practice policies in order to know what to expect when booking with me. I try to be as thorough as possible with my policies, and after reading through them and booking, I’m under the belief that you understand and are okay with these policies.
Practice Policies
Please read through, understand, and refer to the following policies before booking, and during treatment.
LATE POLICY. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late to their appointments are subject to appointment cancellation/rescheduling. This is in place in order to respect the proper appointment length that has been paid for in full by each client.
CANCELLATIONS. Clients have up to 24 hours to cancel an online booking. Clients must give 48-hour notice before cancelling an appointment that has been active for longer than 24 hours. 48 hours gives me enough time to reschedule your cancelled appointment should you so choose, and to fill the cancelled appointment time slot with clients who may be on a waiting list. Cancelling less than 48 hours in advance results in a cancellation fee of $30 being charged to the client’s card on file. In the case of a blocked card or chargeback, you as the client will be placed on hold until the cancellation fee is paid. Upon booking your next appointment, you must be manually approved, and the cost of the appointment will be due upon booking.
GIFT CARD REDEMPTION. The State of Maryland requires that all gift certificates expire in no less than 4 years from the purchase date. Gift certificates for Heart in Hand Integrative Care are redeemable for up to 48 months after the date of purchase. However, once the treatment package has begun, all appointments allotted on the gift certificate must be completed within 12 months.
INSUFFICIENT FUNDS/BLOCKED CHARGES. If a payment for treatment rejects, or we are unable to charge you for an agreed upon payment, you as the client will be placed on hold until the cancellation fee is paid. Upon booking your next appointment, you must be manually approved, and the cost of the appointment will be due upon booking.
CREDIT/DEBIT SALES. When paying for treatment with a credit or debit card, the cardholder’s name must match the identification provided by the client. There must be a valid debit or credit card presented at the time of booking the appointment as a way to complete the payment for treatment, or cancellation fees. The client’s card will not be charged at the time of booking, only upon checkout.
PACKAGES. Heart in Hand Integrative Care provides treatment packages in groups of 3, 6, or 10. These packages can be purchased, or gifted to a client. When a package is purchased, the client or gift recipient has up to 48 months after the date of purchase to begin treatment. Once the initial appointment of the treatment package has been used, all appointments allotted on the gift certificate must be completed within 12 months.
REFERRALS. If a new client is referred to our practice, and the client becomes a sincere, consistent client, a credit of 50% off of your next massage will be gifted to you as a thank you from us. What is consistent can be measured through the completion of 3 or more appointments. Your credit will be issued to you through email, or QR code. This code can be presented when booking your appointment online, or in person. Thank you for your continued support!
SCHEDULING. Appointment scheduling can be completed online at calendly.com/heartinhandic. It can also be done by reaching out to me via text message. Please schedule ahead! There is a 48 hour cancellation policy (see above) that may result in a fee if violated. When scheduling, please verify the type of appointment you are booking before confirming. A reminder email will be sent to you 48 hours prior to your appointment, as well as a text message 24 hours prior.
